I’m Jack Dinsmore, a graduate student at Stanford University in the Kavli Institute for Particle Astrophysics and Cosmology. I am interested in pulsars and the extreme, high energy physics they reveal. I study them with detailed statistical analysis of X-ray data from satellites such as Chandra and IXPE, as well as data from other wavelengths.
I am also interested in the intricate gravitational fields that asteroids and other irregular bodies inhabit.
I received my Bachelors in Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where I was awarded the Barrett prize for astrophysics research.
